Super Nike Shoes For You

The last three years of Kobe shoe drops have allowed sneakerheads to cop some of the most unimaginable sneakers created. Well, folks, it is only going to get better. Or, should I say, better and better and better. That's because the Kobe VII will release in three different models. That means three times as many colorways as the previous three years have seen! Excited yet?

The base model will include a removable ankle sleeve. This ankle sleeve is attached to the inner sole and also serves as the tongue of the shoe. This unique support system has been labeled "Play Fast." The supreme model uses an upper that provides a shell for a removable midsole and bootie. This removable piece will see the bootie extend above the ankle and has been labeled "Play Strong."The Nike Foamposite One is one of the signature sneakers that Hardaway rocked in 1997. Foamposite technology uses polyurethane which allows the foot to mold to an individual's foot during the heat of play.

The Kobe signature shoe continues to push the envelope in performance design. As it has been the case from the beginning and continued this year, Kobe is and has been an integral part of the design process. There is no other basketball player who invests as much time and effort into the making of his signature shoe,The impact that these two players had on the shoe industry as well as the basketball court put them in a truly elite class. About as elite as you can get. We all know who one of these legendary players was. Of course I speak of the man, the myth, the legend that is Michael Jordan. But do we all know who the second player was. If you are a true sneakerhead you most certainly do know.Foamposite is featured on the toe and heel panels while the nubuck fills in the upper. All this sits atop a translucent color tinted outsole. Penny's legendary 1Cent logo is used on the tongue while the Swoosh is placed on the toe box. Several colorways are slated for release with the first one dropping the second week of November.

Nike latest grand design… the Olympic Nike Lunar shoes

Well we all know that every year Nike likes to come up with something fresh and new and, unsurprisingly, this year it’s all centered around the Olympics. Their latest grand design is the Lunar shoes. With their distictive designs this is a shoe you will be seeing a lot of on the TV during the olympics - especially when it comes to the athletics.
Nike lunar trainer
  • Introduces the Lunar lite foam - mega springy and lightweight
  • Has an anatomical last - based on nike free technology
  • Has pillow waffle outsole - lighweight with cushioning value
WHAT WE THINK…
The hype is good - it always is with Nike. This shoe is ‘out there’ - the colours are bold and the outsole has a futuristic shape - but it works. The fit is fantastic, the feel plush and it is very light. Time will tell if stands up to serious road training but so far it feels fantastic.
Nike lunaracer
  • Nikes lightest shoe other than the Mayfly (which is limited to 100K)
  • Flywire upper adds structure without weight
  • Pillow waffles - add cushioning without weight
WHAT WE THINK…
Nike promise ‘a super lightweight experience that makes me wanna run’ - well that is a little over the top from our amigos in the US of A - but the truth is that there’s some excellent technological thought gone into this shoe… and ultimately the scales don’t lie - it’s progressive and incredibly light (oh and it looks the business too doesn’t it?!)
